[Easiest Way] 90 fps - BGMI/PUBG mobile - Android 11+ devices | 3.4.0 update | Oct 2024

90 fps - BGMI/PUBG mobile - Android 11+ devices - 3.4.0 update - Oct 2024

It's the Easiest way to enable 90 FPS on non-supporting devices. You have seen other ways like using ADB, Shizuku, etc.

I have an Android 13 device. I've tried to edit using the special access file manager. But, that didn't help me.

ADB method needs a PC & it didn't work in my case. I found the Shizuku method difficult to apply & time-consuming.

After some research, I managed to edit the active.sav file values. So, you can follow this guide.

How can 90 FPS be enabled on BGMI/PUBG Mobile after the 3.4.0 update?

For Modifying frame rate settings in PUBG Mobile/BGMI for Non-supported devices, we'll see the entire process in 3 parts.

    I. Get Active.sav file from BGMI/PUBG data folder

    1. First download the app called Files(by Marc apps & software)

Note: We're not hosting any files within our blog.

    2. Open the app & minimize it

    3. Again open another app like Chrome

    4. Now, Split the Files app with Chrome as shown in the below picture

Files app - Split app     Files app - Split app 2

    5. Navigate to Android > data > com.pubg.imobile > files > UE4Game > ShadowTrackerExtra > ShadowTrackerExtra > Saved > SaveGames & there you'll find Active.sav file

    6. Open the download folder in Splitted app windows

    7. Drag & drop the Active.sav file into another app windows

Now minimize the Files app. We'll use it again to place it back to its original location.

Before that, we'll edit its values related to FPS.

    II. Edit the Active.sav file

    1. Open an Online Sav file editor(Search on Google) & load your Active.sav file from the Download folder

    Sav editor - Editing active.sav

    2. Put the 'fps' & Change the values(FPSLevel, BattleFPS, LobbyFPS) to 7

    3. Now, download the file & save it to the same location

You can also use an offline sav editor or text editor if you've proper knowledge. Otherwise, you would break the file.

Active.sav FPS values are as follows

    • 4 = 30 FPS
    • 5 = 45 FPS
    • 6 = 60 FPS
    • 7 = 90 FPS

III. Move the File to its Original location

    1. Open the Files app(Splitted) & navigate to the download folder where you place the edited Active.sav file

    2. Simply move the file back to the original location as we did previously

We've successfully edited the FPS settings of PUBG/BGMI Mobile.

Now, launch PUBG/BGMI Mobile as usual and start playing without changing any of the Graphics settings.

Otherwise, it will reset the values to default that we've set as 90 FPS.

Alternative method - Unlock 90 FPS: Using GFX Tools(Premium)

Regular free versions of GFX Tools will help you a lot. You'll need the premium version of the gfx tool to bypass this.

Personally, I've been using PGT+(Premium subscription) for the last 2 years. Literally, it helped me a lot to get rid of all the GFX-related issues.

The premium/pro version is cheap. It costs around 29 INR(For international users, it will be around 1 USD) & that is for lifetime access.

    1. Open PGT+ & select Game Variant

    2. Under Basic graphics settings, choose these settings -> Smooth + 90 FPS(Experimental) & disable Shadow & MSAA

    3. Select Apply & give the access to Android > Data > com.pubg.imobile folder

If it doesn't allow or settings are not working, follow the below steps.

    1. Choose Advanced Graphics > Enable Zero Lag mode

    2. Under Zero Lag Profile, choose Ultra Performance (Max FPS 90) Only for 90FPS supported devices

PGT plus - 90 FPS Settings

    3. Keep Optimised graphics type = Smooth

    4. Toggle the Save Sensitivity Settings, so it will save the applied settings for the next time

On the dashboard, select Force Apply to start your Game.

    Conclusion

After the BGMI/PUBG mobile's latest 3.4.0 update, most of us are unable to change the frame rates to 90 who have Android 11+ devices.

KRAFTON has reset the value to default which we set using configs or GFX Tools.

Android 11+ devices provide enhanced security for internal data files & folders. There are very few methods that actually work.
